"Gain horsepower and torque easily with this easy to install upgrade. Lifetime filter can be cleaned and re-oiled, but the big news here is that we've designed this intake kit to work by itself or with our SCT custom tunes. Our design provides a cool air charge safely, without risking engine damage from water or foreign object ingestion. Other air intakes relocate your filter to the bottom of your fender well or engine compartment. Not only can this allow water into your engine under rainy conditions, but it turns your cold air intake into a vacuum while driving, sucking up dirt and debris from the road.

The kit is supplied with a stainless steel air box with built-in velocity stack and CNC billet aluminum mass air meter housing. It mounts in the factory location as is supplied with rubber trim. Our tests showed inlet temps a mere 5 to 10 degrees above ambient temperature. The Steeda Lifetime Filter can easily be cleaned and re-oiled, making maintenance a snap. All stainless steel hardware required for installation is included in the kit.

Used without a tune, we have seen up to 12 horsepower. We've found between 25 and 31 horsepower and over 25 foot pounds of torque with this kit and SCT tune. Steeda dealers, such as Tasca Ford have seen 40 horsepower at the wheels with our cold air, tuner, and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system!
